For weeks they have been preparing for this journey. They go with different expectations. Luca voices some doubts as to whether such a journey to Auschwitz can actually change a person lastingly. The visit will definitely provide food for thought – but people who are uninterested or shallow will probably not be greatly affected by the impressions gathered there.
